"Hi, my name is Chris and I am entering my Junior year as a Physics Major at California State University East Bay. One of the reasons I enjoy Physics is because it is a very math oriented subject. I have enjoyed helping other students who struggle with math and have helped friends and classmates throughout high school, both in-person and over the phone. I recently tutored a classmate in College Algebra. I am comfortable with tutoring middle school, high school, and college students through Calculus II and also Statistics.
Although I have consistently done well in my Math classes, I understand the value of a good tutor. I started at Cal State East Bay as a Computer Science major and ended up using both tutoring offered through CSUEB and through Wyzant. I understand what it is like to struggle to master a subject. I look for different ways to explain things to help you learn in the way that works best for you. My rates are very reasonable because I would like to help others through tutoring. Last summer, I worked as an assistant in one of my Physics Professor’s lab studying about Dark Matter. With the changes due to Covid-19, I am now looking to apply my skills as a tutor.
I enjoy mastering Math topics and helping others to learn Math as well. I scored a 730 on the Math SAT, and received a 5 on both AP Calculus and Statistics. I completed Calculus II as a freshman and recently completed Calculus III (Multivariate Calculus). I know I can help improve your ability to learn Math.
Three semesters of College Physics and labs covering mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, optics, and atomic physics." less...
