"After completing and receiving my high school diploma, I am currently double-majoring in both Pre-Law and Psychology, Relevant coursework that I have completed during my time in highschool to best help your student include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Honors Biology, Honors Civics, Precalculus, Calculus, AP Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, AP Psychology, AP Statistics, AP US History, Seminar in Art Composition, as well as Drawing and Painting
Relevant coursework that I have completed to best help your student in specific subjects they may be learning include Biosychology, Sociology, Phiolosophy, as well as Seminar in Composition.
I have also taken several psychology courses such as Developmental Psychology and communications classes such as Public Speaking allowing me to speak tactfully with students and help them as much as possible
I am currently also a reading tutor (1 year so far) at an early childhood center/elementary school (I teach students anywhere from years 5 to 7) which requires me to attend several educational trainings, make lesson plans, make assignments, pick up necessary materials, check grades and progress on a regular basis as well as an art tutor at my own home that teaches students (anywhere from ages 3 to 14) to draw, sketch, and paint---I usually deploy a repetitive method/approach in my teaching, constantly reviewing old information and using it to make connections to newer material so that the student is not only able to quickly pick up on new material but also remember old information. I also ensure to use fun activities and games so tutoring does not become tedious for students.
My teaching in regard to reading has been one on one to ensure I have the most utomst focus on my student's needs whereas my art tutoring has been in groups, making me adept to both forms of tutoring. My classroom setting has been incredibly varied--I have tutored in classrooms, at my own home, as well as at the library, all based on the student's comfort." less...
