"Hello! My name is Om — I’m a third-year undergraduate student at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) studying biology under the 7-year BS/MD program with Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. As a motivated pre-medical student, I have worked as an EMT, Medical Assistant, and research assistant, all of which have exposed me to a vast STEM and medical curriculum, and have been recognized on the Dean's List each semester at TCNJ with a cumulative 4.0 GPA. I studied at a biotechnology vocational school from grades 9-12 where I earned an International Baccalaureate diploma with a core focus in biology and chemistry. My experience in the medical field and success in numerous high-level biology and chemistry classes has allowed me to effectively help other students in their educational journeys as a tutor for the past six years.

Throughout high school and college, I have volunteered as a peer tutor in STEM classes including General Biology, General Chemistry, Genetics, Organic Chemistry, Physics I, and Cell Biology. I led study groups and made myself available after class to go over challenging concepts with other students where any students could come for help. Whether it is homework help, exam prep, or assistance to understand whole concepts, I learned how to develop lesson plans that makes learning fun and interesting! I firmly believe the instructor and method of teaching can make any subject interesting and easy to learn, and I hope I can provide that for you!
