"I am a 4th year medical student on track to specialize in Emergency Medicine. Previous educational experience includes graduating from Cornell University in May 2016. I was a student who went through the honors track in chemistry, taking honors general chemistry, organic chemistry, and their respective labs, attaining a GPA of 4.0. Furthermore, because of the overlap between biochemistry and biology, I myself have taken numerous upper level courses in biology that ranges from Principles of Biochemistry (got an A), Genetics, and Microbiology with Laboratory Component! I also have had a track record in mathematics, having taking the AP exam in BC Calculus and achieving a 5, whilst also getting perfect scores in the math components in both the SATs (800s) and PSAT (80s). Furthermore, I have taken 2 other AP exams in Biology and Chemistry, achieving 5's on both of them.
I have had extensive experiences tutoring students through various subjects, especially the sciences and math, having received multiple perfect scores on various generalized and standardized testing exams. I can help students learn the conceptual aspects, constantly engaging students to think, to help them gain more confidence. My approach to tutoring is to constantly ask the students to critically think before showing them the workup and procedure to obtain the answers. That way they will have the fundamental understanding behind each concept, and can see it being in action. I can say that your grades are guaranteed to improve with my assistance! Let me know if you ever have a question with a DM to me here!" less...
