"As a graduate from the University of Arizona with a BA in Anthropology, I know how stressful it can be as a full time student and that the stress can sometimes make it difficult to study for exams. I have always enjoyed having the opportunity to help other students in need and worked as an English teacher with a local Refugee network in Tucson, AZ teaching English classes as well as with high school students for three consecutive summers as they took an array of different courses through the university. Anthropology was a passion and coupled with the History and Classics minors, I was able to explore many different topics while keeping my courses closely tied with what I eventually want to do, become a teacher.

As a tutor I find it is most important to be patient and thorough in finding information, as it can sometimes be tricky to do. Students need someone with whom they feel comfortable working, not someone they are afraid of or intimidated by. I try to be as open as I can so that students are not afraid or intimidated.
