"In December of 2020, I graduated from CU Boulder with distinction in Integrative Physiology and a minor in business. Currently, I am attending the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine studying for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and am involved extensively in academic research and a variety of tutoring programs.
Throughout my experience in undergraduate and dental school, I have deeply enjoyed teaching and have continuously been involved as a private tutor helping high school, college, and graduate students with their science classes. Additionally, I had the opportunity to teach an anatomy lab section on human cadavers at CU Boulder. Each semester, the top student applicants are selected as undergraduate teaching assistants who work with a graduate student to become an expert on their human cadaver and teach a section of ~15 students. I have extensive tutoring experience between all formats (in person, online, etc.). From my wide range of professional and personal teaching experience I have learned a lot about how to work with a variety of students and have the drive to find what makes each student's brain click. I can't wait to work with my future students!
In the past couple years, I’m sure many parents have gone from not only having full time jobs but becoming full time teachers as well. This is a challenging position, and I am here to help with any level (introductory through college) of biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, nutrition, and many other topics.
As far as hobbies go, I have been a competitive swimmer for the majority of my life and swam for my college club team at CU Boulder while presiding as Vice President. I am also into fishing, biking, hiking, backpacking, skiing, and many other outdoor activities." less...
