"I am currently a student at Grand Valley State University, pursuing a degree in Environmental Science Throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong passion for helping younger students build confidence and succeed in their studies. I have focused much of my coursework on subjects like math, writing, and the basics of science, which has given me a solid foundation in these areas. I am eager to apply what I’ve learned to help elementary and middle school students improve in these key subjects, as I believe a strong early education is the key to future success.

In terms of tutoring experience, I have worked informally with several younger students, helping them with math problems, writing assignments, and early science concepts. While volunteering as a tutor at a local community center, I assisted students with their math homework, focusing on basic arithmetic, multiplication, and problem-solving strategies. I also worked with students to improve their writing skills by guiding them through the writing process, from brainstorming and drafting to revising and editing.
