"The best learning experience I obtained during my undergraduate was from tutoring other students, both in the classroom and online. I was a peer tutor at the University of Rhode Island writing center for two years. I was responsible for tutoring undergraduate and graduate students of all disciplines and levels of writing ability within a classroom setting. Additionally, I was representative of the University of Rhode Island as a peer tutor consultant for an online peer editing company named ELI during my senior year of college. My responsibilities as an URI technical assistant to the program ELI - based out of Michigan State University - was to work with students and teachers to implement the online peer review program into the classroom, as well as communicate with ELI technicians about questions, comments or glitches with the new online technology.

Thanks to these two undergraduate experiences, I grew to thoroughly prosper as a tutor, consultant and aid. The wonderful aspect of tutoring is both the student and the tutor continue to learn, together.

I received Cum Laude honors and a 3.4 GPA upon graduation of the University of Rhode Island in 2013.

During my undergraduate career, I focused on creation of various genres of writing: research studies, website design and web-content composition, public speeches and orating, creating and implementing online writing tools, and also - most largely - in-person peer review and tutoring. Genres of writing within my major included analytical analysis and research writing, argumentative writing, creative and short story writing, poetry, travel/blog writing, technical writing, community service/non-profit and grant writing. During my undergraduate rhetoric and leadership studies, I completed numerous courses on public speaking and orating to both small and large groups.

Please, feel free to contact me to schedule lessons to begin your growth as a writer. I am looking forward to hearing from you, and to assist you as you become a academic or professional writer" less...
