"My name is Max, and I'm a fourth-year MD/MBA student who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a degree in Physiology. I have extensive experience teaching learners of all levels. Most notably, before starting medical school, I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, where I taught English to university professors for a year.

I strive to create a conducive learning environment that is personalized to my students' preferences. Specifically, I like to use an energetic, hands-on teaching style emphasizing repetition, making (and learning from) mistakes, and thinking outside the box. I have used this style with other medical students, who have achieved impressive USMLE Step 1 (pass) and Step 2 scores (267). My past students have praised my ability to simplify complex concepts and have often stated that they didn’t know that studying could be so fun before learning my methods!

As an individual who prides myself on rock-solid communication, I aim to stay in contact with my learners. I want to benefit students as much as possible, and I am open-minded to feedback. I also encourage learners to provide me with resources they have previously found helpful. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions or comments, and I eagerly await our sessions together.
