"Hello! My name is Emma, and I’m a recent UT Austin graduate with a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience with highest honors and a minor in science communication. I’m currently a research associate at Dell Medical School. I have over 3 years of experience as an individual tutor for high school and college-level neuroscience, biology, psychology, and general chemistry courses, and I have 5 years of experience as an editor and writing coach for college coursework essays and scholarship applications. I scored a 1580 on the SAT and earned a 99th percentile score on the MCAT, with a perfect subscore of 132 on both the Chemistry/Physics and Psychology/Sociology sections of the MCAT.

As a tutor, my approach emphasizes using real-world examples to demonstrate relevance and working with students to pinpoint the specific concepts that are causing them confusion, so we can work together to develop a thorough targeted approach to their sessions.
