"Hello future student,

I would love to explain to you why you want to pick me as your new guide to learning. I have 11 years of experience as a highly paid teacher. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, fourth grade, fifth grade, sixth grade, seventh grade, and yes even eighth grade. Not all at once though. And some not for a whole year. But none the less, I have given excellent lessons to them all.

But the ironic twist in this story is I did not set out to become a teacher at all! In fact I was originally going into social work. I had been working in the Healthcare industry for 23 years and then one day I received an email from an organization called Teach For America. And that changed the course of my whole life. And lucky for you that it did.

So I went to the Saint Louis University for my undergraduate degree in general education and English minor, then I rocked on over to the University of Missouri Saint Louis for a masters in Elementary Education, and I just needed some more school so I kicked it at Park University to get a masters in Educational Technology. You could say I am a little obsessed with learning new things. I really think that is how everyone should live, as a life long student.
