"For 10 years, I have passionately led hundreds of diverse, uniquely special students in classroom education. My teaching experience includes Preschool through middle school, public, private and at-home settings, all core subjects, as well as a specialty in English as a Second Language. My evenings and summers were spent tutoring students in ESL, reading and comprehension, phonics, speech, math, social studies, science, study skills and more. I am dedicated to differentiating instruction for each student's learning style and needs. My students and I love to use many different resources like visuals, drawings, songs or chants, dances, games, experiments, tech and more! Tutoring starts with playing All About Me style games, so we can get to know each other better! "What is your favorite food and what is yuck?!" Mine is pizza and cauliflower is yuck! Then, we discuss learning styles, needs and expectations- so we're all on the same page, like frequency and goals.
