"My name is Sophia! I graduated from North Carolina State University summa cum laude with a major in Biology and minors in Animal Science and Microbiology. I am currently in a dual degree program completing my Masters in Public Health and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degrees.

I have many years of experience in upper level science and math courses and a strong passion for mentorship. I was a teaching assistant in Anatomy during my undergraduate as well as tutoring peers in physics, biology, and mathematics.

I spent many years as a counselor and camp leader including taking on later tutoring roles for middle and high school aged children. Through this I developed my teaching style and the ability to break down challenging concepts in a way that is easy to understand, remember, and apply. I'm very passionate about making learning fun and finding ways to engage all types of learners.
