"I have 34+ years of tutoring and training experience. I was Residential Tutor/Counselor for Upward Bound all 4 summers of college, a Resident Assistant all 4 years in college, and a professional Subject Matter Expert and Trainer for 34+ years working internationally with all backgrounds, cultures, and learning styles. My teaching/tutoring style includes using Situational Leadership, active listening, problem solving, and customizing my approach to the student's learning style and needs.

I have a BS in Chemical Engineering, was inducted in the National Honor Society in High School, received the Scholar Athlete Award, received numerous academic scholarships to college, received numerous quality, training, and leadership awards from 6 different global corporations, and completed various classes and training on Child and Adult Learning Styles, and Creative Training Techniques.

I have training and experience in teaching/tutoring to all learning styles for auditory, kinesthetic, and visual learners, and I customize my tutoring style to the student's learning style. I have developed training courses specifically to address all 3 learning styles.

I have been trained to provide tutoring in English, Reading, and Writing by my Mom who is a Masters Plus 30 Reading Specialist. I have also completed courses in Business Writing and Technical Writing.

My regular list of tutoring customers includes students from all of the magnet schools, private schools, colleges, and universities in the Middle TN and Seattle, WA areas. I also tutor students Online all over the United States via Skype.

I have tutored students to prepare for, maximize their scores for, or improve their scores for the following tests/exams: TCAP, ACT, SAT, PSAT, ASVAB, GRE, GED, Compass, ESL, Praxis, ISEE, NCLEX and the HESI Admission Assessment tests.
