"Most of my professional experience has been in film and music industries, but before I found my passions in said industries, I was a tutor for Americorps. During my time tutoring, I found myself wanting to connect with my students' goals and did what I could to help them along the way to achieve those goals.

We're all students in our selected fields and we should always want to learn. When it comes to filmmaking, I consider myself a constant learner. With every project and every mistake, I'm always learning; What I love about filmmaking is passing that knowledge along.

My experience producing film has been consistent over the last few years while filling roles as a Director, Editor, and Cinematographer for a variety of video styles. As a Director, I researched, conducted pre-interviews for each subject, and scouted shooting locations during the pre-production phase of each project; During the production phase, I conducted interviews and produced follow-up questions for non-actors to supplement possible shortcoming of answers and help push a narrative. As an Editor, I logged footage, met with directors, color corrected, enhanced audio, and arranged footage into a timeline to create compelling stories. As a primary shooter, I captured essential B Roll footage to push the narrative, set up lighting for interviews, set up a multiple camera system for interviews, and set up audio (lavalier, boom mic, and room tone).

My experience in motion graphics mainly consists of lower thirds, titles, and credits. Beyond the staples of basic typography in motion graphics, I have also produced 3D graphics and animated projection maps for proof of concept videos while at Simantel Group. Additionally, rotoscoping in After Effects to achieve sought after color and exposure of a scene has been a technique I have implemented in my edits.

As a current Freelance Videographer, Editor and Director, I use Adobe Premiere daily to edit raw footage into compelling stories for clients and festival bound documentaries. In my previou" less...
