My name is Jai and I'm offering my services as a computer science tutor on this platform. I have been employed as a professional software engineer for almost 5 years. I possess a Bachelor's and Master's in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.

Over the course of my professional and educational career, I have developed a solid foundation of computer science fundamentals that are applicable to both classrooms and the industry. I have served as a teaching assistant for 2 semesters for an undergraduate level computer science class during my time in college. I have acted as a mentor and provided support to junior engineers and interns and helped people with no prior experience build tools and applications serving a variety of purposes.

While I do not have any formal tutoring experience, I have strongly believed that teaching and helping others is one of my core skills. I wish to utilize that potential of mine by offering tutoring classes. I have held group classes, 1-1 teaching sessions for students who needed additional help or just wanted to dive deeper into a particular concept, and designed and graded homework assignments during my stint as a teaching assistant in college. I like to take a holistic approach to learning and allow the students to set the pace of their learning.
