"I am a passionate, versatile senior information technology manager with 15+ years of experience in all aspects of systems application development using Microsoft tools and technologies. Specifically, I have used Visual Basic as my choice of programming language and I believe it is a clean and simple language for beginning programmers to learn the fundamental concepts of programming languages in general and in the use of "visual" tools to design applications quickly and efficiently. Since 2008, I have brought that passion into the classroom when I teach and will bring that same passion when interacting with students one on one.

I have been teaching a Microsoft Office course since 2008 and have been using Microsoft Office applications since the early 1990s. When teaching I always dig deeper into the tools to give my students a sense of the vast capabilities available in these applications in an attempt to whet their appetites for learning more. And I always provide them with other resources beyond the textbook for learning more. I will take the same approach with my tutoring students.
