"Hi there! My name is Anders and I am a voice teacher and tutor. I graduated from The Eastman School of Music and earned a double major in vocal performance & music education as well as a vocal performance degree from Florida State University. Teaching is a passion of mine and I find joy helping others unlock their potential and hone their musical skills!

In the past I worked as an adjunct voice faculty member at Finger Lakes Community College, a music substitute at Brighton School District and Canandaigua Academy, and a Theory in Motion instructor (music skills building for elementary aged children) at The Eastman Community Music School! I find teaching to be incredibly important and rewarding. With diligent work comes great success and improvement!

Personally, I am a classical and operatically trained tenor and value and teach a healthy and stable vocal technique that balances breath support, laryngeal stability, and proper vowel production. I have placed first in the 2015 NATS competition sophomore division, 1st in the 2014 Rochester Philharmonic Young Artist competition, and honorable mention in the 2018 Eastman Kneisel competition. Outside of competitions, I have performed for Eastman Opera Theatre, Finger Lakes Opera young artist program, and Geneva Light Opera and have have worked as a Tenor section leader for various churches.

Outside of music I enjoy staying active/working out, playing tennis, board-games, reading, and keeping up with my family and friends!
