Educational Background: Cum laude 3.7 BA in Experimental Psychology, minor in Education, from the University of South Carolina. I am planning to go back to school soon for an MA in School Counseling. Licensed from CIEE with 150+ hours (20 hours practicum) TEFL certificate.

Previous Tutoring/Teaching Experience: You're in luck! I just returned to America. I have over five years of working as an English teacher with my lovely students in Korea. Korean classrooms are rather similar to American classrooms. Most of my classes consisted of anywhere from as little as one student to 15 students, with ~8 to 12 being the average class size. The age ranges of my students have varied from as low as kindergarten (Phonics, Basic Reading, Speaking) to advanced-level high school students. Most of my teaching experience comes from using Wonders/Houghton Mifflin textbooks. Prior to moving to Korea, I worked at an American elementary school for four years in an afterschool program. I also spent six months teaching as a substitute teacher in the same elementary school I went to as a child.
