"My teaching philosophy is that I believe everyone is capable of learning programming, and since not everyone learns in the same way, we should practice different approaches to teaching. Everyone has a different learning style. Although I prefer sticking to a planned itinerary for studies, it is important to be flexible enough to find a compromise in how the student prefers to learn.
Whether it be with short-term tests, watching informative videos, or putting practice into an application, students should be free to ask for or discover supplements to what they are learning. As long as the student understands the subject matter, I am okay with any creative path the student would prefer to take.
