"I am a seasoned Biology and English tutor with five years of tutoring experience. Starting in high school, I tutored elementary school students in biology and taught lab science to underclassmen at the University of Pittsburgh. During high school I also majored in creative writing, and am very familiar with all things relating to English, reading and writing.

I care much more about my student learning the material then how they do on tests, as I understand tests aren't a good measure of one's own learning and knowledge. I like to make material fun and interesting, as I am very aware academia can be tiring and isolating to those who haven't had the same resources of others. Social justice is very central to the way I teach.

I have taught biology of all levels since freshmen year of high school, and currently work as a 5th grade biology teacher at a local Elementary School.
