"My tutoring areas of focus are writing, reading and the humanities. I will work with you to improve your writing and reading skills and habits through detailed lessons, academic planning, friendly feedback and suggestions for supplementary resources. I am familiar with a wide range of topics in the humanities, including critical theory, and multiple styles of writing. My writing background includes academic writing for advanced humanities courses, scientific writing for psychology courses and research, journalistic writing, and creative writing (poetry and short story).

Additionally, I have informal experience helping non-native English speakers and international students improve their speaking and listening, writing, and reading abilities.

Having gone through college and heading to law school this fall, I am also willing to assist with the college or law school admissions process. I can review personal statements, resumes, and scholarship essays and help you study for the ACT and LSAT exams. I can best help with the English, Reading and Writing sections for the ACT and the Analytical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension sections for the LSAT.
