"Hi I'm Callie! I'm a Writing & Communications Tutor based in Texas. I'm passionate about helping students improve their writing skills and get better grades in courses such as English, Speech/Oral Communication, and Media Writing.

I graduated with an MA in Mass Communication and a graduate certificate in Advanced Digital & Social Media from Texas Tech University in 2023. I was an assistant instructor for a Business & Professional Communication course for two semesters during grad school, working each semester with two classes of 25 students each (one online and one in-person). I assigned, work-shopped, and graded student presentations. I also held office hours for additional one-on-one time with students.

After doing private writing tutoring for high school and college students sporadically, I began working at the South Plains College Writing Center as a part-time tutor at start of the Spring 2025 semester.
