"Hi! I am a graduate from California State University Northridge, where I received my BA in film production and the Dean's Scholar Award for my graduating class. I am a video producer and editor at California State University Northridge, where I work in the university's communications and marketing office.

In my work on Cal State Northridge's videography team, I coordinate video production, conduct video interviews, and edit videos. Most of these are documentary-style videos or social media marketing and YouTube videos. I use Adobe Premiere Pro for all of my video editing here, and have been using the program since 2017. I have a professional certification from Adobe in Digital Video using Adobe Premiere Pro. I am delighted to teach the ins and outs *wink wink* of Premiere to anyone who wants to learn! I am also familiar with iMovie and Camtasia, and can guide students regarding best practices for planning and filming video projects.

I graduated from Cal State Northridge with my BA in film production in 2022. There, I learned a great deal about film and video production, and directed a 15 minute short horror-drama with animation and VFX that premiered in 2024. As a student, I also volunteered to lead a student organization that gathered creative writers together to read and critique each other's work. In my three years as president of the organization, I gained significant experience proofreading and providing feedback on creative writing and essays.

I am a firm believer in the value of education, and I love to help students achieve their educational goals by assisting and providing guidance on their reading, writing, and storytelling skills. I specialize in college application essays but am delighted to work with students on any English assignment they may have.
