"I have been Director of Education of five American theatres and Co-Artistic Director of bilingual Drama Ties Theatre in France. I’ve worked with more than 15,000 students of all ages and served as a teacher trainer throughout France and the U.S.

I’m a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Carnegie Mellon University in Drama and Creative Writing and hold a certificate in acting from Ecole Jacques Lecoq. I’m an award-winning theatre director, playwright, and poet who has been honored with awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Academy of American Poets, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. I coach high school students for college auditions for drama and musical theatre programs, assist students in conceptualizing and writing outstanding college essays, and serve as a tutor of English, writing, and literature for all grade levels. I know that English is the most challenging subject for many people, and my great passion is to inspire students to develop a lifelong love for reading and writing by helping them find their own unique voices and perspectives.

I am a professional poet, playwright, and bookworm. I believe our writing is as unique to us as our fingerprints and that we all have an important story to tell. I’ve also been in theatre my entire life and can coach students for auditions, interviews, and public speaking.
