"Dr. Jeffrey was a university lecturer and tutor from 2003-2017. He has helped students of all ages, including secondary school, college, postgraduate, and executive clients. From 2020-22, he helped almost 30 students get selected for a distinction by The New York Times and three students to win first prize. Every year half of his students receive gold key, silver key, and Honorable Mentions from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards commission. Jeffrey works with executives at companies like Youtube, Google, Chevron, and Apple.

From 2020-22, he provided college counseling and essay editing for multiple students accepted to Yale, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Stanford, UT Austin, Rice, University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Business School, UC-Berkeley, UCLA, USC, Purdue University, and Oberlin College--among other top schools in all areas of study.

Jeffrey received his BA from Yale, MA from Cambridge, and PhD from UC Berkeley. He taught at the University of California for sixteen years. A writer of fiction and non-fiction, he has received the US White House Commission's Presidential Scholar in the Arts award and Yale's Wallace Prize for the best fiction. Jeffrey has received various fellowships for research, including the Ehrman, Torbett, and Bildner Fellowships. His research has been funded by the Ford-Mellon foundation.
