"Hi prospective students! I'm a third year student at Yale and a New York Times Scholar. I have been helping students with college-level writing, math and biochemistry for the past five years. My past clients have requested help with preparing for the SAT and the New York State English and Math exams. In terms of writing, I specialize in both narrative (personal) and standardized testing styles. The college essays I have edited in the past have been admitted to all Ivy League colleges, and I also prepare students improve holistically with their tone, grammar and command of the English language. Grade levels I have worked with range from elementary to high school.
My approach to tutoring is being as honest as I can with feedback. My edits are detailed, and I invest a lot of effort in seeing student improvement. I have worked as an instructor with the Yale Daily News Symposium, with helps high schoolers and college students from across the country work on their journalism. By working with me, you can expect both live sessions, supplementary multimedia content and multiple rounds of thorough edits and feedback.
