"I'm Khalid! I recently graduated from Yale University with a degree in statistics & data science. Additionally, I completed the premed curriculum and plan to matriculate to medical school next fall.

In high school, I helped tutor many students for the ACT and SAT. I grew to love the feeling of helping someone understand a concept they were struggling with. I do everything I can to make learning a pleasant and rewarding experience for everybody. When teaching, I will first introduce the material in a creative and fun way. Then, I give the student an opportunity to practice while I loosely guide them and ensure they are approaching the problems in an effective manner. Finally, we recap what we learned and make a plan for retaining the things they learned.

I have taken math classes through Multivariable Calculus and Linear Algebra. In high school, I scored a 35 on the math section of the ACT and a 790 on the Math II SAT subject test. I have 2 yrs of tutoring students in middle school and high school. After working with me, students have consistently been able to increase their understanding of the subject matter and score higher on exams.

I took AP chemistry and scored a 5 on the AP test in high school. In college, I have taken general chemistry and organic chemistry. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the chemistry classes I have taken and feel confident I can explain the vast majority of topics in a manner that is easy to understand. I previously tutored a student in high school chemistry; after working with me, his grade and understanding of the material increased substantially. I am confident that I can do the same for you or your child.
