"You may think I’m crazy, but I like algebra. I also enjoy teaching, that’s why I ‘m here. I spent several years in the hi-tech (semiconductor) industry, took an early retirement, got bored, and started teaching. I started teaching ground classes and taught college level algebra at four different colleges.

It was a student that convinced me to start teaching online. I did not think algebra was a good subject to teach online, but she convinced me I was wrong. I’m glad she did; now I teach both online and face to face.

My career took me from a production supervisor to a division president. I have lived in six states, from Maine to California and spent a few years overseas. I have taught basic math, algebra, economics, critical thinking, and student success courses.

My time is pretty flexible and I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. We can meet online or in person or a combination of both, again, it’s what works best for you. I prefer a quiet restaurant or library for face to face meetings.

My hourly rate is $50.00. I do have a FOUR HOUR cancellation policy.
