"I'm a certified a teacher with 14 years of classroom experience, specializing in physics, mathematics, chemistry, physical science, data analysis, and test preparation. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Wabash College, where I graduated magna cum laude, and have earned certifications in Physics, General Science, Chemistry, and Mathematics (with a perfect Praxis score). I have taught courses in AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, and AP Chemistry, in addition to introductory-level courses in physics and chemistry, a course in data analysis, a physical science course, and Algebra 2. I also used the Modeling Physics Instruction Curriculum for several years in my introductory physics courses, which emphasizes a hands-on approach and student-led scientific inquiry, and as a result I’m comfortable with a variety of approaches to teaching and learning.

In addition to supporting my students for over a decade in the classroom, I have tutored dozens of students over the years in various subjects, often with an emphasis on test preparation. When tutoring test preparation, I strongly believe that in order to give yourself the best chance at success, you have to know what you're up against, in both content and test structure. I align instruction with your actual assessment so you won't be surprised by anything on exam day. For my career, my students have averaged well over a 4.0 on AP Physics exams (primarily Physics C: Mechanics and Physics 1). I am also certified in multiple data analytics tools, including Excel, Power BI, and Google Sheets and have completed the Google Professional Certificate in Data Analytics.
