"Hello, my name is Zach! I am a father to a two year old, and a former high school football coach. I have completed one year's worth of private one-on-one tutoring sessions, and have also taught extra curricular programs and summer camps for grades K-12 an additional 2 years, one of which was the well-known Camp Invention. I worked as a PE coach at an alternative high school for 2 years as well, and teaching is one of my many passions. There is something so amazing about seeing a child's mind "click" as they take in new knowledge they have been trying hard to understand--it is also one of the best parts about parenting to me!

In my spare time, you can find me hiking with my wife and kid. If I am not doing that then I am watching football, coaching my brother-in-laws little league baseball games, or working on graphic design. I am enrolled in a Master's Degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS) currently with an emphasis on Environmental GIS, and my wife and I spend our evenings creating art for our online apparel shop. I love Disney, and my favorite shows are The Office and NCIS. If you choose me as a tutor, you may find that I know too many hilarious "dad jokes."

I have over 5 years of experience working directly with the Elementary grade level in both instruction (enrichment and STEM classes/camps) and coaching (youth sports for recreational leagues).

With my Bachelors of Science in Ecosystem Science & Sustainability, along with my personal passion for Physical Sciences, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge that will help to engage students in a fun and comprehensive way.

During my undergraduate studies, not only did I perform well in multiple courses in the subject, but I also conducted two original research projects using the technology. Both of these projects (one individual and one group) were recognized as First Place in their respective categories during the Colorado State University Undergraduate Research in Ecology Seminar of Spring 2017.
